Livestock and Culture
Brandings, roundups, and cattle drives.
The stride of a good horse, with a dog as a companion. Lasso, facón, and boots—the gaucho way. Fences and harvests.
We are blessed each day to work this land: corral work, summer pastures, the livestock.
The culture runs deep—you can feel it beating.
Navigation
Imposing, majestic, with a thousand faces and colors—the lake is respected, feared, and admired.
Our pioneers navigated it; its waters carried their dreams. Today, we continue to sail it—full of corners, secrets, and wonders.

Education
We firmly believe in the impact of education on our children and our community.
Together with our community, "Cuenca Viva" was created to channel resources and strengthen educational quality. An education connected to our surroundings—one that opens doors, builds connections, and prepares our children for the future, and to continue caring for the region we love.
Community
Each of our experiences, our products, our meals, our wool and textiles—all come from our community.
It is the hands of our neighbors and friends that set our table.
At La Naviera, we prepare each visit exclusively for every group or family who comes—and we do it all together, as a community.

Conservation: Rewilding
We are deeply aware of the responsibility we have to conserve, protect, and care for this extraordinary nature. It is our home—and the home of thousands of species that have lived here long before us. From livestock practices to everyday actions, everything must embrace that conviction.
Since 2023, we have been working alongside Rewilding Chile on a monitoring and protection program for the huemulthat inhabit La Naviera. It is a privilege to do so. Many thanks to Rewilding for the dedication and passion they bring to this work.
The Role of Our Guests
Welcoming guests has become an exchange—where each of us, from children to neighbors, shares what we know and is enriched by those who come.
An appreciation for culture, an admiration for nature, learning, and shared experiences—these flow in every direction.

You were happy in this land, blessed in fullness. Your authentic, creative, and simple nature, and your noble bearing, placed you at the center of it all—with the same ease in a humble cabin as in a grand salon.
— Atilio Cosmelli to Luz Pereira on the day of her passing, December 27, 1979.
